Newly found info: In the start-/result lists from Sandhamn 1959 the name is SJÖRÅET. There is also a R5 named Sjöråtu.

The name of this boat is probably Sjöråtu, not Sjörået. Since Sjöråtu doesn't make any sense I presumed it was a misreading. Sjörået is an old swedish mythical figure. Now I have found that there are other boats (an R5 and others) named Sjöråtu. Does anybody have documents for this boat?

S 20 Sjörået is a Arvid Laurin design, built in Motala in 1954 for the Consortium KSSS. Both Arvid Laurin and Hjalmar Frisell has been helmsmen.
